Who Are We?

Hi, I'm Madi, the founder of Opulent Shines.
After having my first child, my body changed — and so did my relationship with fashion. I wanted to feel elegant, covered, and confident, but every boutique I walked into left me empty-handed. Nothing fit the woman I had become.
Out of necessity, I started ordering from abroad. And something magical happened — everywhere I went, women stopped me to ask where I got my clothes. "That's so elegant." "Where did you find that?" Over and over again.
That's when I knew I wasn't alone.
In 2020, I started small — buying pieces and personally delivering them to women's homes right here in Iowa City, IA. Word spread. The need was real. So I opened Opulent Shines online so that women everywhere — no matter where they live — could finally have access to fashion that is modest, elegant, and classic without ever having to compromise.
