Return & Exchange Policy

At Opulent Shines, your satisfaction is our priority. We want you to love your purchase, and we're committed to making the return and exchange process as smooth as possible. Please read the policy below carefully.

1. RETURNS

Eligibility

We accept returns on unworn, unwashed, and undamaged items within 7 days of your delivery date. During the month of December, this window is extended to 14 days to accommodate holiday gifting.

What We Accept

Items must be in their original, unworn condition

Items must be free from scents, stains, or signs of wear

Items must be returned in original packaging with packing slip or order confirmation

Store Credit

All approved returns are issued as store credit, which never expires and can be used toward any future purchase. Store credit will be emailed to you within 7 business days of receiving your return.

  Note: We do not offer cash refunds. All returns are issued as store credit only.

Restocking Fee

If we determine that a returned item cannot be resold (based on its condition, appearance, or smell upon arrival), a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your store credit. We will notify you by email if this applies to your return.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. For items valued over $75, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of untracked parcels.

2. HOW TO MAKE A RETURN

Follow these steps to initiate your return:

Step 1: Submit your return request within your return window by clicking the Return Portal link in your order confirmation email.

Step 2: Once your request is approved, you will receive a follow-up email with return instructions.

Step 3: Pack your item(s) securely in original packaging and include your packing slip or order confirmation printout.

Step 4: Ship your return to the address provided. Keep your tracking number for your records.

Step 5: Once received and inspected, your store credit will be issued within 7 business days.

If you placed your order via Facebook or Instagram, please use the order number on your packing slip when initiating your return.

3. EXCHANGES

We want you to find something you love. Exchanges are available on eligible items under the following conditions:

• Exchange requests must be submitted within 7 days of your order ship date.

• Exchanged items must be received by us within 7 days of your exchange request approval.

• Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.

• Discount codes and coupons cannot be applied to exchanges.

• Exchanges are currently available for domestic orders only. International customers may use store credit toward a new purchase.

4. REFUNDS

  Opulent Shines does not offer cash refunds. All eligible returns are issued as store credit.

Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion in cases of items that are defective or significantly different from what was described. If you believe you have received a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@opulentshines.com with photos of the issue.

5. UNDELIVERABLE ORDERS

If your order is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout, the following will apply:

• A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from any eligible refund or credit.

• Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable.

• We will contact you to arrange reshipment or issue store credit for the remaining balance.

Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order to avoid delays or fees.
